Enhanced fact find - streamlining client conversations

Our enhanced fact find helps you efficiently capture and update client information - whether during onboarding, a review, or ad hoc advice requests.

 

It is being launched for our Essentials clients as part of our standard offering - but it can be available for those of you on your own Xplan site to take a look and assess it provided you have your own test site*.  Initially, this won’t be configurable, but you’re able to review it on your site and provide feedback to us.  

* We recommend it is only installed for those of you on your own Xplan site when you also have a test site available.  To support the enhanced fact find, a small number of additional fields need to be added to the site and you may not want these in your live site.

Fact-finding methods vary. Some use a Client Portal for their customers to capture their basic details, while others prefer direct client interactions. Initial face-to-face meetings are important for building trusted relationships early on, but can often transition into remote meetings for ongoing reviews.  This makes it essential to have a seamless way to collect and update key information.

 

Our enhanced fact find is designed to capture core client details and aligns with many of the fact find reports we have collected from our clients. While clients can provide basic data, additional details often come from supporting documents or third-party providers. During reviews, having a fact find focused on core information means that it’s easy to update key changes since the last meeting.

 

For Essentials clients, this is a standard solution. If you manage your own site, contact our relationship management team about enabling this feature on your Xplan site.  Our plan is to introduce a configurable version of this fact find for non-Essentials sites.


What is it not?

This is not a detailed fact find. Instead, it complements the data you’ve captured in existing client records, with additional details captured post-meeting in the Key Details and Financial Details pages. Any information entered in the fact find automatically syncs with these fields - eliminating the need for re-keying.
