We are pleased to share the news that a new third party integration is now available for Xplan users.
This has been piloted with a group of research partners and clients in the UK and we are now opening this up to the wider UK client base. To manage this process the 'switch on' differs from the usual self enablement pattern and you should refer to this article for more information.
* * Please note: As of December 2024 this integration is now fully live in AU/NZ as well as the UK * *
This is a custom integration, in this case built by Iress, connecting to the Docusign API as opposed to being a Standard Third Party Integration. However just as an integration built on the standard pattern this version, which connects your Xplan to your existing Docusign account, is being offered as a free service for Iress Clients.
eSignature is one of Docusign's flagship products designed to make your business faster, simpler and more cost-efficient with electronic agreements. Agree with confidence, with intuitive signing experiences across virtually any device.
Software type: Document Signing
Locale(s): UK, AU, NZ
Contact details for integrator: Prospective Docusign clients should register your interest via Iress, see linked articles.
Website for integrator: https://www.docusign.com
Description:
This integration connects your Xplan user account to your existing Docusign account enabling efficient and secure transmission of documents to be signed, then automatically collecting and storing the signed documents in Xplan, saving you time and reducing risk of errors.
There is no need for a new contract with Docusign if you already have one in place, (although if you don’t we can help you with that), nor do you need to sign up to a new agreement with Iress or buy envelopes through us.
Simple, efficient and reducing risk.
IMPORTANT NOTE - This integration is available for firms on multi-tenanted sites i.e. Iress Essentials clients, Dealer Groups and Networks. To get connected you need to speak to your local site administrator.
Once your site administrator has completed some foundational tasks and activated the docusign option, you can make (and revoke) the connection to your Docusign account yourself.
Upon first use of the integration you will be directed through the Docusign oAuth flow to make the connection between Xplan and Docusign. You only need to do this once. Subsequent uses of the functionality will recognise the connection and process the requests immediately until such a time as you choose to revoke it or a Docusign process requires you to re-authenticate
The integration requires you to have an account at Docusign before attempting the connection. If you need help establishing this please contact Iress as per the articles below.

Please note: If you are part of a network or dealer group you should first refer to your organisation’s support team who will advise if this option is available to you. If you outsource your site administration to Iress please contact your Iress Account Manager or you can raise a request directly with Iress as per the above linked articles
