Scenario based Letter Generator

Default settings

From the 11th January 2024 the Essentials team will deploy a new scenario based Letter Generator wizard allowing:

• multiple users to work on a single letter
• multiple letters to be worked on simultaneously
• provide a visual audit trail of letter communication
• locking functions on a scenario

For users on the above sites only, the current Letter Generator will be available until 31st January 2024 allowing you time to confirm the settings you require at firm level for the new scenario based wizard.

Users on XplanCentral3 already have the firm level settings applied.

The new scenario based Letter Generator includes further enhancements whereby certain fields have been removed from the wizard and now only need to be set once at firm level.

This will reduce the number of questions a user has to answer on each letter, previously 19 questions, reduced to 9 and ensuring all users generate consistent outputs in line with your firm's chosen format.

As a result of the changes the Letter Generator styling will default as follows:

If you would like Iress to amend the above default settings please notify us via the Iress Connect portal link using the Essentials Site Services tile and select Letter generator options (you may have to click "Show more portals" to see our tile):
