Add a client

Video Summary:
- Select New Client and add the relevant data into the required fields
- First Name, Last Name, Gender and DOB are mandatory
- To include a Partner, click yes and a new Partner tab will open
- The data you can add includes contact information, who the adviser is, a vulnerability assessment, anticipated retirement age, nationality and more.
- Marketing Preferences can be added by simply marking yes or no
- Consent recording for marketing purposes (GDPR) can also be added
- Once you've added in the right data, click Save and you will be sent to the Client Summary screen.
Complete a Fact Find

Video Summary:
- This video covers completing a Factfind and printing the Factfind if required.
- Add a new client or open an existing client.
- Within Client Summary, choose View Factfind.
- Hover your mouse over the left bar, this shows all of the available sections including but not limited to: Personal Data, Contact Information, Dependants, Expectations, Employment, Income, Expenditure, Credit History, Bank Accounts and more.
- You can jump to a specific page or use the navigation buttons on the bottom left and bottom right. Right moves you to the next page.
- When adding a new item to a page, make sure you add in the information and click Save before adding the next one.
- At the end of the Factfind, above Add Note is the option to print. It creates a Word Document. Click the link to download the document where you can edit as required. Remember to save the edited copy back to Xplan for compliance audit purposes.
