Welcome to the launch of our Fortnightly Product Pulse.
Every fortnight, we’ll bring together high-level updates on our Xplan product initiatives, giving you a focused roundup of what’s underway, what’s taking shape and what’s next. Our aim is to keep you in the loop and show how each change could support your people and clients.
We’re continuing to evolve Xplan with our clients, making advice practices simpler, more connected and more confident in the work they do.
Key product updates
Xplan | Product roadmap Q3 2026
Our latest Xplan product roadmap is now available on the Roadmap Hub, where Kerry Ong (General Manager Customer Distribution) and Yulia Tjhin (General Manager Product Management) bring together customer listening, what we’ve delivered to date, initiatives planned for the remainder of the year and the next stage of Xplan Evolution.

Client Portal | Smoother, more secure sign-in
Our new Client Portal login experience is planned to roll out progressively from November 2026.
We recently published an article on Community sharing this preview now so practices have an early view of this upcoming client-facing change ahead of the phased rollout.
Clients will move from site-specific legacy logins to a global identity and can sign in with email and password, Google or Apple sign-in where supported, or passkeys and biometrics on compatible devices. Multi-factor authentication and self-service account recovery will also be available.
Existing clients will be guided through a one-time migration the next time they log in, so there won’t be a single mass password reset. New clients will register through a secure invitation.

Client Focus | Fixed Term Agreements
Yesterday, we launched our Fixed Term Agreements in Xplan version 26.10.499.
The dedicated workflow helps advisers manage Fixed Term Agreements and other non-ongoing fee arrangements, including commencement, expiry and future-dated renewals, in one place. Keeping this client management in Xplan reduces manual tracking across different locations and duplicate data entry, while helping lower the risk of missed agreement dates.

Client Focus, Xtools+ and Portfolio | 2027 Capital Gains Tax
Ahead of Australian legislative Capital Gains Tax reforms taking effect on 1 July 2027, work is underway across Client Focus, Xtools+ and Portfolio. Our planned approach has recently been published on Community.
The work aims to support more consistent data capture, tax calculations and reporting, reduce reliance on manual spreadsheet calculations, and improve accuracy, consistency and auditability across advice practices.
Further information, including guidance and timing, will be shared closer to launch.
For Xtools+, an interim manual modelling guide with practical examples is available while we are updating Xtools+ to align with the current legislation rules.

What’s next for Xplan
Xplan | Meeting Assist AI
Xplan Meeting Assist AI brings a meeting brief and post-meeting follow-up into Xplan - helping advisers understand the last client conversation, focus on the next one and turn agreed outcomes into action. The beta testing is underway, with delivery targeted for Q4 2026.
Portfolio | Multi-order journey
This enhancement aims to validate execution instructions before order submission, catching missing or incorrect details early to reduce administrative rework and support more confident batch processing. We are currently conducting user testing, with feedback being collated and reviewed.
Xplan | Porter AI and HQ
Xplan Porter AI is a natural language query assistant built into Xplan that surfaces information and simplifies the workflow. It answers questions about client data, using information from the active client record including file notes and attachments.
Xplan HQ brings together tasks, events, client reviews, key milestones and opportunities. By highlighting daily priorities, it gives advisers and practice teams a clear starting point for the day.
Both initiatives are underway, with beta testing aiming to commence from Q4 2026.
Stay connected
We’re committed to keeping you informed as Xplan evolves. Future updates will continue to explain what has changed, why it matters, what clients need to do and where to find further information.
