Overview
Xplan Version: 26.5.483
In 2026, we recognise that compliance requires more than a checkbox; it requires a defensible, strategic foundation supported by structured data.
To support the 1 June 2026 NZ mandates and the AUSTRAC 2026 outcome-based reforms around capturing a client's Risk Rating, we are excited to be releasing a native AML/CTF workspace within Xplan. This functionality moves your practice away from fragmented, manual workarounds and into a structured framework designed to turn complex regulatory demands into a streamlined, high-visibility part of your client management.

Pre-requisites
- Minimum Xplan version: 26.5.483
- User capabilities: To access and modify risk data, users must have the “View & Edit AML/CTF Risk Rating” capability enabled within their user profile.
Key features
The following outlines the key features and benefits:
- Standardised rating capture: Establish a single source of truth. Record a formal, high-level risk status (Low, Medium, or High) directly on the client profile, ensuring consistency across your entire practice.
- Direct evidence linking: The "why" is just as critical as the rating itself. Tether your assessment directly to a specific Document Note containing the underlying rationale and risk factors, ensuring your evidence is "audit-ready" and accessible in a single click.
- Data visibility and reporting: Turn compliance data into actionable insights. All risk data is fully integrated with Xmerge, Xport, and Advanced Search, allowing you to generate an instant AML Register or pull risk statuses into client-facing documentation without manual reconciliation.
- Assessment history: The system automatically snapshots every risk assessment into a permanent, non-editable history log, providing a chronological record of how a client’s risk profile has evolved over time.
