As Emily promised in her blog on 4th July, today we are excited as we have launched a new user experience to our Home and Software pages in the Iress Community!
Over the past year, we’ve been reviewing feedback from all of our members on how useful and intuitive you find the community to use.
That feedback told us that:
- Content can be hard to find
- It’s not as intuitive to navigate
- Registration can be a little confusing
- You would like to be able to filter and navigate through content more easily
- Some of our content is out of date or has broken links
- It’s hard to see how popular certain articles are for inspiration

We’ve made some significant changes now to address many of those challenges above.
Here’s a summary of those changes:
- Made the home page more intuitive and modernised the look and feel
- Introduced Announcements across the community to make it easier to see key updates
- Included Resource areas to get to key content quicker and easier
- Linked directly to our Learning Centre
- Added more filtering options, such as breaking down recent activity by type and the ability to dynamically filter that activity by label or tag
- You can now see how many views an article has had in recent activity
As with any large change, we’ve had a few initial teething troubles but most are fixed and we are progressing the final few. These are the first in a series of changes as we continue to update our content, tidy up our labelling and tagging to make it easier for you to filter and as we look to the other areas of the community for future updates.
Please log in and take a look and please share your feedback with us via the survey or direct to community@iress.com
