You told us and we listened. We understand the navigation and search functions on the Iress Community haven’t been great at helping you to find content quickly and easily, and it has resulted in poor user experience.
So, what are we going to do about it? We’ve been busy working on changes based on the feedback you’ve shared in the Community Experience Survey and we’re excited to announce the rollout of the Iress Community’s new look and feel on Thursday, 14 July.
The key changes you can expect to see include:
- The design and structure of both the landing page and our software home pages have been updated to a cleaner look and feel and to direct you to the content you need in a more efficient and intuitive way
- The Recent Activity section will help direct you to the updates you find most important as they will now be separated by new ‘Articles’ from Iress, ‘Discussions’ and ‘Service Updates’. You can also now filter those updates by topic labels or tags.
- The Ask The Community Forums now have a designated link direct from the landing page, making it easier to engage with other members
- There will be a Quick Links section on the landing page so you can navigate to key resources or visit other platforms quickly, such as the Iress Learning Centre or our Support Portal
As well as updating the functionality of the community itself, our Iress teams are working actively on updating and improving the content within the community and these improvements will continue throughout 2022.
These changes were driven with the intention to improve the searchability and quality of the content, navigation of the user interface and the use of built-in filtering tools. By focusing on these key areas, we will:
- Improve the relevance of search results for users
- Improve the experience of searching for content
- Shorten the time it takes to find relevant content
- Improve the Community’s navigation experience
As we continue to improve the efficiency of the Iress Community, we can assure you that everything you need will still be available - we’re simply enhancing the pages to provide you with a better experience.
