Did you know the "Minimum Balance on Reboot" setting has been moved out of the "Other Transactions" menu and into the Pension pop-up and EOP Transactions Input screen where it belongs?
Why? Finding this setting used to feel like a game of hide-and-seek. It was buried deep in the menu tree, which added unnecessary friction to what should be a simple step. It’s now been relocated to the Pension input pop-up and the EOP Transactions screen to match the way most people actually build their strategies.
How? Open your Pension input pop-up or the EOP Pension Reboot tab. You can now set the Minimum Balance, choose an indexation rate (the default is 0%), and even set a specific end date for that balance. You also have the option to trigger a "Retirement Sweep" to clear the account to zero once the minimum balance is no longer needed.

💡Tip If you are modelling a reboot strategy, you can also use the Minimum Balance feature to manage ongoing insurance premiums. Set the Minimum Balance to cover the expected premiums and index it to match. This ensures the fund stays open and funded without you having to manually calculate the retention amount every year. If you’re not modelling a reboot, you can use the Regular Rollovers feature to keep sufficient funds for the insurance premiums.
Does having this in the Pension pop-up save you a few clicks in your daily workflow?
