Following on from our improved Advanced Search function that allows you to search for a specific SMA holding, did you know you can now simply search for clients who do or do not have an SMA?
We have enhanced the Client Advanced Search to introduce a new portfolio search type called Search for SMA Clients with options of “No SMA” or “With SMA.” - as simple as that!
With the No SMA search, it returns the list of clients without holdings in any SMA instruments in their portfolio while the With SMA search will return the list of clients with holdings in any SMA instruments in their portfolio.
Instead of manually filtering through spreadsheets to see who hasn't transitioned to a Managed AccountÂ
- Easily group "With SMA" clients who may follow a different fee structure or reporting cycle.
When market volatility hits or a specific investment strategy changes, knowing exactly who is - and isn't - in an SMA structure is vital.
- Instantly generate a list of clients who are currently using discretionary models for compliance reviews.
- Identify clients who should be in an SMA based on their risk profile but are currently listed under "No SMA."
Tailoring your message is much easier when you know the client's account structure.
- Send targeted educational materials specifically to the “SMA" group without bothering those it is not suited to.
- Run a "With SMA" search to send out a single update regarding a specific model manager or strategy change that applies to that entire cohort.
What other ways can you think of to use this new functionality?
