1. Use the Search Bar
At the top of every page, you’ll see the search bar.
Click into the search box.
Type in keywords related to what you’re looking for, for example:
“Xtools”
“Error message when logging in”
“API integration tips”
Press Enter or click the search icon 🔍.
2. Refine Your Search with Filters
After searching, you’ll see tabs that will help to narrow your results
Tabbed search options
Posts – To filter by Categories, select Posts. You will then see additional filters available in the filter bar.
Places – To find an area of the Community, select Places which will allow you to search for pages (such as Xplan Help) within the Community.
3. Use Smart Keywords
To improve your search results, try terms that are:
✔ Specific (e.g., name of tool or feature)
✔ Clear (avoid unnecessary words like “the” or “a”)
✔ Short (2–4 words is great)
Examples:
“report settings Xplan”
“community feedback ideas”
“mobile access issues”
