Is there any way to tell how often users are using licenses? We often have staff say they need a license for WealthSolver, Risk Researcher etc but I suspect they only use them every now and then.

We have done this for our business using Xport reports where:

Data Sources

Unique Client Groups | Unique Client Groups
Client Group master | Client Group master (child of Unique Client Groups)
Client Group member | Client Group member (child of Unique Client Groups)

Headers

Master Entity Name | [Key Details] Entity Name (child of Client group master)

Sorting

[Key Details] Entity Name (child of Client Group master)

and then with any column names you want (e.g. Entity Name, Is Master)

Hi Kenny, is it possible to obtain the following as bulk report via Xplan? For example, to run across our whole client list and output as PDF or CSV?

“Actual Asset Allocation vs Target Asset Allocation per client”
“Actual Asset Allocation vs Risk Profile Asset Allocation per client”

This is not possible unfortunately. I would suggest conducting a survey periodically to determine if their need is valid.

Hi @jo.palmer, while there isn't a standard report to run against all clients showing which ones have a family, there are some custom searches you can add to your site to find who has a partner and who has dependents.

A search criteria of “is partner = Yes” will list all the partners that are currently listed against client entities in Xplan. You can then merge this data out into a report (with or without their related entities).

To search for dependents, you could add a search criteria to list all entities that have “dependent: First Name = Not blank”. This will at least show all client entities that have at least one dependent with data in the name field. You can then export or merge this data into a report.

The Family Tree can be downloaded using Xmerge. Syntax: <:=$client.get_family_tree(width=1000, height=800):>

Hi @michael.kitselaar, that depends on what you're trying to achieve.

For data hygiene purposes:

You could run the standard "Exception" management report, which will generate list of suspected duplicate clients.
You could also run a scheduled Xport to look for blank fields like dob, address, marital status, etc.

As part of your advice process, instead of running reports, you can use Scheduler's built in automation features to do the heavy lifting for you. E.g. getting Scheduler to look for clients with reviews due, and initiating a workflow for the process.

If you’re trading using the platform vendor Independent Reserve, they do provide datafeeds for cryptocurrencies which are converted to AUD value. Otherwise, you can create your own custom products.

Hi @rebecca.acs, this is a great idea.

It is possible to build custom onboarding and offboarding wizards for users however you will need the capability to edit the interface which generally only a site administrator will have, so make sure to check with your site administrator as to whether this is allowed.

You can create custom Add User wizards in the same way as custom Add Client wizards and you can also create wizards that sit against a user record in the same way as a wizard against a client record. Head to Admin > Interface from the left hand menu. By default, you will land on the ‘Adviser Interface,’ which is the interface that the adviser sees when accessing a client. Change the top drop-down to Add User to User Management to create a wizard against a user.

If you don’t see the menu option you’ll need to ask your site administrator.

Hi @kerri.shanks, yes you can, by bringing up a client list and running report in bulk by going to Report -> Portfolio report:

Depending on what you're after, the Alerts Manager licence allows you to create alerts when certain conditions are "breached" - e.g. when an actual asset allocation is outside of target range.
