Overview

The Essentials team implemented some improvements to the valuation (since inception) report. This applied to the following managed site in the UK region (please check the URL of your Xplan site in your browser if you are unsure whether this applies to you):

Features

The valuation since inception report now better reflects the valuations for non-investment assets (i.e. Property & Land, Business Assets, Life Style and Other).

The improvements are described below: -

Wizard

• We improved the help text to explain the profit and loss figures for property & land

Report output

• Summary version of the report
• Non-investment assets now display Purchase Date and Cost in the Inception Date and Total Contributions columns
• Non-investment assets now display Profit & Loss based on the Cost and Inception Date
• Where Property & Land and Profit & Loss are included, an explanation of the profit and loss calculation is now displayed at the end of the report 
• Detailed beakdown version of the report
• Table headings for non-investment assets now display Cost and Inception Date instead of Contributions and Start Date 
• Table headings for Property and Land now display Income and Frequency instead of Withdrawals
• Group Totals for Property and Land now display the annualised income figure
• Where Property & Land and Profit & Loss are included, an explanation of the profit and loss calculation is now displayed at the end of the report 
• Combined Report (Summary & Detailed Breakdown)
• Where Property & Land and Profit & Loss are included, an explanation of the profit and loss calculation is now displayed at the end of the report.
