Xplan Essentials (UK) - Client Portal email templates

We will be making a number of further improvements to selected email templates which work in conjunction with Client Portal.

The key changes are: -

  • Replacement of the pdf attachment to the client welcome email which includes a website link to your Client Portal.  The new email will now just contain your Client Portal link in the body of the email.  (This change doesn’t apply to those of you on XplanCentral3).
  • Use of the client’s preferred name, if you have recorded one.
  • Removal of your logo from the top of the emails - this was causing formatting issues for many of you and the logo is better displayed in your email signature

 

The changes will be made within the following managed sites in the UK region (please check the URL of your Xplan site in your browser if you are unsure whether this applies to you):

 

  • XplanCentral
  • XplanCentral1
  • XplanCentral2
  • XplanCentral3
  • ThreeSixty

Improvements

 

Welcome (username) email

The improved email will contain the following content (with the client’s preferred name if they have one): -

 

Dear Peter,

Welcome to our online client portal - a simple, secure way for us to communicate and share information.

How to get started

  • Click on this link to get to the login page - https://example.myfinance-hub.co.uk 
  • Enter your username - peter.haynes1
  • You will also need a password.  For security purposes, this has been sent in a separate email.

Once you log in, please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with our Client Portal.  If you have any questions, or any difficulty with your login, please contact me.

 

 

 

Welcome (password) email

The password email will contain the following (with the client’s preferred name if they have one): -

 

Dear Peter,

Here is your password to complete your client portal login.

Password: <:=$password:>

Your username has been sent in a separate email.

The password will expire in 7 days. If you are unable to log in before expiry, or you have any difficulty with your login, please contact me.

 

 

 

Message notification to the client

The improved email will contain the following content (with the client’s preferred name if they have one): -

 

Dear Peter,

A secure document has been shared in our Client Portal and you can log in here - https://example.myfinance-hub.co.uk

Please log in to review the document.

 


NB If the client’s adviser does not have a preferred “website” contact stored against their record, then the sentence “A secure document has been shared in our Client Portal for you to review using the link we shared previously.” will be shown instead of the Client Portal link.


Digital signature notification to the client

The improved email will contain the following content (with the client’s preferred name if they have one): -

 

Dear Peter,

A secure document has been shared in our Client Portal for you to sign and you can log in here - https://example.myfinance-hub.co.uk.  

Please log in to review and sign the document.

 

 

NB If the client’s adviser does not have a preferred “website” contact stored against their record, then the sentence “A secure document has been shared in our Client Portal for you to sign using the link we shared previously.”
