The demand for better product clarity

As more products emerge with value-added services, additional features and provider specific terminology, advisers are looking for clarity around these enhanced product offerings. 

To help bring this clarity to the new protection products on the market, Iress has introduced further enhancements to The Exchange Income Protection service. 

Free for all Exchange users, Features allows advisers to perform like-for-like comparisons against all providers as well as create feature comparisons reports for these products giving a clear, detailed view of which is right for their clients.

Features is the result of extensive work with the industry to standardise product providers’ specific interpretations of protection features and introduce standardised definitions that make it easier for advisers to understand and compare products.

With the introduction of Product Features on Income Protection products, Iress is now allowing Advisers to compare up to 12 product features in two simple to use feature comparison reports.

Quickly see which features are supported on the Income Protection service.

• All features are displayed; those supported by the providers are highlighted
• Features highlighted as available are part of the quote returned 
• Collective feature definitions are provided
• Direct links to provider extranets/documents to find out more
