Further to the below announcement, this phase of the migration of Investec W&I accounts to Rathbones is now complete.
Normal service has resumed on both the Investec W&I and Rathbones datafeeds.
================================================================================
This article contains important information for the Investec W&I and Rathbones valuation service within Xplan.
Investec W&I is now part of the Rathbones Group. On April 12th, Investec will move most accounts to Rathbones.
The move will impact the Investec datafeed, with the migrated accounts subsequently available via the Rathbones datafeed.
The IressNet team will automatically update Investec accounts and replace the External Account ID and Vendor to ensure they continue to update after the migration.
The migration to the Rathbones valuation service will start on 12th April.
Iress will pause the Rathbones datafeed during the migration process and is expected to be re-enabled by around the 16th of April to complete the conversion of Investec accounts to Rathbones.
Please note that valuation data in Xplan for the migrated Investec accounts may fluctuate during the changeover to Rathbones. Any differences will be resolved once the migration has been completed.
Please check the Community for updates on when the migration has been completed.
You will see the changes under a client by going to Portfolios—Admin—External Contracts. The Vendor will change from Investec to Rathbones, and the IPS External Account ID will be replaced with the Rathbones reference.
No other fields will be updated automatically within Portfolios or Client Focus. Further guidance on updating Client Focus details can be found here.
If you use CommPay, you must update the Policy Numbers to Rathbones once you receive all final payments from Investec. Please see further details here. To help update these records, Rathbones can provide a list of the Investec numbers and replacement Rathbones account numbers.
Yes, a small number of accounts will remain on Investec until the end of May, at which point they will move to Rathbones. Once confirmed, we’ll advise on the dates.
Rathbones have enabled all existing Investec W&I firms for their datafeed. Existing recipients of the Investec datafeed do not need to register.
To receive the Rathbones valuation data in Xplan, you must have a Rathbones adviser mapping that matches your FCA number. If you already have this, no further action is required.
