Iress People

The IressNet team are excited to announce that, after working with Transact for several months, we have completed pilot testing on their new Transaction API.
In collaboration with Transact, we aim to move all existing users to a full transaction history feed from June 6th.

What will the new Transaction API offer?

Transaction API Data

  • Transactions available for investment and cash movements
  • Income events for Dividends & Interest also included
  • Enables position cost to be maintained within Xplan

Full History Automatically Included

  • Full History available for active accounts
  • Upon release, existing users will have the Transaction history automatically added
  • New users will receive the backload of data once registered

Improved Valuations Data

  • Client data is now included for 30 days to assist with matching up new accounts

How will existing users access the Transaction data?

The Transaction data will be loaded from 6 June onwards and expected to be fully completed over the weekend, ready for 9th June. Existing users will receive the data automatically, and any new users added from then onwards will also receive the full history.

What if I currently exclude Transact accounts from the Transact Datafeed?

If you currently have any Date Locks in place or have marked accounts as 'Do Not Import' then no data will changed for those accounts in line with those settings. See further details on Community how to amend the Date Locks or 'Do Not Import' options.

If you exclude certain accounts to manually maintain transaction history, consider changing to the new Transaction API data for those accounts.

We'll issue a further update to confirm progress in the lead-up to the 6th of June.
