Following are the Terms of Service for the Iress Community.

Use of the Iress Community indicates you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the Iress Community.

Purpose

The Iress Community is a site created for our clients, software users, partners, and employees. It is a location to access Iress software information and company information. It is also a place for ideation with our clients directly on the improvement of our software. We expect everyone to observe the community guidelines set out in these Terms of Service.

Community Guidelines

As an Iress Community member, you agree NOT to:

1. engage in, promote, or advocate any illegal activity or fraudulent schemes of any kind including, through your posts or other use of the Iress Community. You also agree not to post links to other websites that engage in such activities;
2. submit content that you know is false, inaccurate, defaming, or otherwise misleading in any way;
3. submit content that contains any computer viruses, worms, or other potentially damaging computer programs or files;
4. post or transmit material you do not have the right to post or transmit under law (such as copyright) or due to your personal contractual or fiduciary relationships;
5. post material that violates any applicable law or regulation;
6. use the Iress Community in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair Iress servers or networks, or interfere with any other user's use and enjoyment of the Iress Community;
7. attempt to gain unauthorised access to any services, usernames, computer systems, or networks, through hacking, password mining, or any other means. Iress may take any legal and technical remedies necessary to prevent the violation of this provision;
8. use profane, obscene, racist, sexist, intolerant, inappropriate, disruptive, or otherwise related content in any communication or post;
9. use the Iress Community as a forum to threat, abuse, defame, stalk or harass any individual, entity, or organisation;
10. use discriminatory or hateful speech of any kind regarding age, gender, race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or disability in a post or a communication;
11. post any personally-identifiable information about yourself or another person, including addresses, email addresses, contact information, phone numbers, account numbers, Taxpayer Identification Numbers, health information;
12. post unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes, and you further agree not to use automated means, including spiders, robots, crawlers, data-mining tools, or other means to download data from the Iress Community.

You agree that:

1. when creating an account to use the Iress Community, you have created this in your personal capacity and not on behalf of any other individual or in the capacity of a corporate entity. Having a user-name under a corporate name is not permitted;
2. you will not share your access credentials with any other individual, and where you believe your account has been compromised, will notify the Iress Community Manager immediately; and
3. you are responsible for all conduct on your account.
4. your username will be allocated to you by Iress.

If you recognise any violation of these guidelines, please notify us by using the "Report Inappropriate Content" feature in the Options menu of the message.

Intellectual Property

1. Infringement on any party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, moral rights or other proprietary rights, or privacy is strictly prohibited and is the sole responsibility of each user.
2. By submitting any content to the Iress Community, you warrant and represent that you are the copyright owner of the content of a post, or the copyright owner of that content within the post, has granted you permission to use such content consistent with the manner and purpose of your use.
3. Using the Iress Community to distribute unauthorised copies of copyrighted material, including photos, artwork, text, recordings, designs, computer programs, or derivative works of such programs is strictly prohibited and subject to removal.
4. You acknowledge that Iress utilises website analytics. Website analytics measurement software is used to assist in tracking traffic patterns to and from our websites, anonymously surveying users of the sites. The system is used to collect such information as the number of unique visitors, how long these visitors spend on the website when they do visit, and common entry and exit points into and from the website. This non-personal information is collected and aggregated by third party software and provided to us to assist in our analysis of our websites.   

User Profile Information

We may refuse to grant you, and you may not use, a screen name or email address that is already being used by someone else, that impersonates another person, that belongs to another person (without that person's prior consent), that violates the intellectual property or other rights of any person, that is vulgar or otherwise offensive, or that we reject for any other reason, at our sole discretion. In consideration of your use of the Iress Community  you agree that all information provided in your profile is accurate, true, current, and complete. Iress may terminate your account if any of the information provided is found to be inaccurate, false, out of date, or incomplete.

 Member Generated Content

 The content found in the Iress Community comes from a variety of sources, primarily from community members. Iress makes no claims or representations as to the accuracy, completeness, or truth of any material submitted or found in the discussion areas. Iress is not liable for any website links posted within the discussion areas; website links posted in the discussion areas may link to sites not administered or under the control of Iress and users must open such links at their own risk. Iress is not liable for any errors or delays in the content or transmission of postings on the site. Remember that you are responsible for your own decisions to act upon the information provided by community members. As all communications are visible to all members, Iress makes no guarantee of confidentiality or privacy of any communication or information transmitted on the site, or any web-site linked to the site, or otherwise in connection with the services.

Unauthorised Use

If your user identification or password(s) is compromised, or if you become aware of any unauthoriSed use of your account or other breach of security, you are responsible for promptly notifying us. You can notify us by sending an email to community@iress.com

Modifications

Iress reserves the right to modify these guidelines at any time, effective upon posting of the modified guidelines on the forum.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Your participation on the Iress Community is provided without any Iress warranties of any kind, express or implied. You expressly agree that your participation on the Iress Community is at your sole risk. Iress does not warrant that the Iress Community will be accessible at all times or error free, nor does Iress make any warranty as to any results that may be obtained by the recommendation of its members. Iress makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, in relation to the Iress Community.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Iress be liable to you or any other person for any damages, including without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or relating to this agreement or the use of the Iress community. Your sole and exclusive remedy shall be for you to discontinue participation on the Iress Community.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Iress (including its shareholders, directors, officers, employees and agents) from and against any action, cause, claim, damage, debt, demand or liability, including reasonable costs and attorney's fees, asserted by any person, arising out of or relating to: (a) your breach of these Terms of Use; and (b) your access to or use of the Iress Community, including any data or work transmitted or received by you;
