Relying on the team to remember to manually add the right tags every time they create a file note or log an email is a recipe for missed data. Automating the process ensures consistent data tracking across the practice without adding extra steps to the daily workflow.

How? Go to the Notes & Documents hub, also known as the Document Library. Look under the Template category and select or edit your chosen Document Note template. Add the relevant tags to the template and save.

When a team member uses this template for a client, the default tags apply automatically, and extra tags can still be added on the fly if needed.

💡 A note can hold up to six tags. Keep your template defaults to two or three core tags so that you still have room to add adhoc, client specific tags as needed.
